Company Profile
Children's Alliance
Company Overview
Children’s Alliance is Washington’s statewide, nonpartisan child advocacy organization. We help people tap into their personal political power so they can advocate for change in their communities. We partner with families, lawmakers, community leaders, service providers and policy experts to develop antiracist policy solutions that improve the lives of Washington kids and build a better shared future for all of us.
We provide our partners and members with the tools they need to stand up for kids and live their values. Across Washington, our robust network of child advocates includes over 6,000 individual members and 125 organizations. Together, we speak with one unified voice to demand that our elected representatives and government leaders prioritize the needs of kids and their families.

Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Over more than three decades, the Children’s Alliance has done a lot to improve the lives of Washington’s kids. We have brought together organizations and individuals to fight for policy changes that benefit kids. We have continually pushed policymakers to put kids first. We have fought to protect children from budget cuts. And we have placed a spotlight on racial inequities and the damaging effects of institutional racism on all children.
From our scrappy beginnings, we have grown in size, influence and scope – all with the goal of bringing people together to build a movement for kids. Our work will be done when all kids get the childhoods they deserve.
