For over 28 years, Communities In Schools Greater King County (CISGKC) - formerly CIS Renton-Tukwila - has been striving for equity in educational opportunities empowering students to break through personal challenges and creating access to resources and opportunities that help them overcome the barriers that stand between them and an equitable path to education. As an organization rooted in equity, our vision is that one day success will no longer be predictable based on one’s race or socioeconomic status.
With our recent merger with CIS Seattle, along with significant growth over the last five years – going from supporting 12 schools in one school district to 38 throughout five school districts - this is an exciting time to join our team.
