Company Overview

Pet Partners, formerly Delta Society, is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving human health and well-being by promoting and demonstrating positive interactions with therapy, service and companion animals. Our 11,000 volunteer therapy animal teams -- consisting of a person and a pet who have been trained and screened through our Therapy Animal Program -- make visits to hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools, libraries and other facilities across the United States and around the world. We provide information to people who are considering a service animal to help assist them with their disability and assist people with service animals who may be encountering obstacles to public access or housing. We also provide information on the everyday health benefits of companion animals (pets) to children, adults, seniors and familieis. We receive no government funding and rely on donations from individuals, foundations and corporations in order to carry out our mission.
